High-Precision Laser Stripping on 32 Plastic Injection Molds in Beauvais

Project Context & Challenge

The plastics plant faced severe fouling on its 32-cavity injection molds (vulcanized resin residue and scale). Traditional sandblasting or bead blasting required complete press disassembly (48h production shutdown) and risked dulling precision cavity edges.

Applied Laser Stripping Method

Raynovation Laser deployed its autonomous mobile unit directly inside the Beauvais factory. The service was performed on hot presses without heavy disassembly. The high-frequency pulsed laser beam selectively vaporized the scale layer in seconds via photonic ablation, while the onboard extraction system filtered 99.97% of residues.
